Default Need help please!

We have a 99 yamaha 350 big bear 4x4, it had a carb fire and we had to replace the wiring harness and carb. We also changed the battery. It had sat outside for 4 or 5 years before we got it. I ran the test on the pick up coil because we had NO spark, it failed. Tonight I changed the stator . I have a faint blue spark from time to time. I have 9 to 12 volts coming to the sparkplug coil. I have a new NGK plug in it also. We have been working off and on this a year and my 13 year old is lost his faith that it will ever run and I am close. Any help would be GREAT! !! THANKS, Craig
