Default 2003 polaris sportsman help

First post so b kind.
2003 polaris 700 sportsman.
Had issues w winch so ordered replacement winch solenoid and switch and Replaced both.
The only noticeable difference:
Leads from the solenoid to connect to winch switch( wiring colors were reversed but had male and female connectors)
Turned atv power on, winch did not work.
Disconnected all leads to solenoid and switch.
Now I have no power to pod.
How do I find problem?

Look past battery going forward, should be a small plastic pouch containing the main 20 amp circuit breaker.Located usually close to the fender on the frame rail. Should have voltage in and out of the red wire. If not, slice the pouch open. Breakers can corrode and short out or just fail over time. Any auto supply should have these for a few bucks.

Thanks for that info on breaker!
I will check that next!

Follow up question on winch solenoid,
The leads from the kfi winch solenoid green male/ black female were opposite in color to the black male and green female from the warn winch switch. Does the color matter? I assume it might work in reverse. Out would be in and in would be out.
Is this correct?

You can always hook up the wiring to adapt to the kfi solenoid colors and see if the switch is oriented correct as far as in and out. If it's reverse, you can either reverse it at the solenoid or reverse the two leads on the winch to compensate.
