I bought an 06 Trx 450r 2 days ago went to start it yesterday and it wouldn't start I was thinking I had a valve issue so I pulled the valve cover and I found this pictures are attached with description any information on this would be great thanks in advance


Something was obviously rubbing on the valve cover and sheeted the metal right off



Whatever this peice is was pulled out and was facing down like this when it was down I had a lot of valve lash



I pushed it back up into the cam in the position I believe it is supposed to be in when in this position it takes my valve lash away does anyone know how this is supposed to stay in or what it is and if that could be my problem?
