I have a 110cc chinese atv and the starter chain broke, I ordered a new starter and chain 62 links but when i try to install it chain seems to short I'm missing something what is the trick to install this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I've got a new chain for starter but with chain on big sprocket the chain will not even fit around starter stud where sprocket goes on I don't understand I've not tried everything but something just doesn't seem right please offer suggestions my son is driving me crazy.

 

Sure you have the correct chain? Chains links come in different sizes and the size of the link will affect the length of the chain. What do you have for chain adjustment? Your seeing the problems many face on these cheap little import machines...things just don't fit very well..good luck and let us know what you find

 

I contacted vmc to see If there is a different size chain for a 110cc but they haven't got back with me they told me a 62 link would fit but it's not I've tried every way I know how
