lookin for some good ways to wake up this new truck without voiding the warranty. Sold the 2000 cummins and bought a 2005, now I need to get it to pull like the 2000 did. Any info would be helpful, thanks.

You already have a full 4" exhuast. I would look into a programmer (chip)

I l;ooked ata few chips and the Dr. perf one is the only one to my knowledge that wont leave a shadow in the computer if it's ever in the shop under warranty. I did the edge chip, exh, and afe stage 2 intake on the 2000 but I need to keep the warranty valid on this one.

The predator wont either. But its not a chip. Its a programmer. There is a difference.

Put in an aftermarket drop in air filter( I used AFE). Next, The tube between the air filter and the turbo, take it out and replace it with a 5" piece of diesel truck exhust tube,(7 3/4 inches long). This will up your power and not touch the warranty. As a side effect your milage will go up as well.

Any and all mods CAN void your warranty. I don't agree with it but if they can relate the mod to the failure they can void it. As for the programmers, they too are detectable! What the dealer sees is that the ECM has been flashed and it wasn't by them and there is no record of another dealership doing it, so it raises a red flag to DC(STAR) to look a little harder. Also, with a programmer when you download the "stock" program back into the ECM for whatever reason it is not always the same as the stock one you had before the flash. There are alot of options out there for you to choose from just do some research and choose the one that suits your needs best.

I was concerned about the warranty as well, after speaking to the dealer the ones I listed will not do anything to the warranty.
