Default HOW TO SELL IT FASTER?

hey all, i need some advice on how to sell my truck quicker. i placed it in the local classifieds and it still hasn't sold. do you think i am asking the right price? it is a 99 f-150 4x4 with a 4.2 L 5 speed.it has 79,000 miles and it is loaded with cloth interior. i am asking $9000 any advice is appreciated. thanks

WOW ... seams about $3000.00 to high for my area.

You might want to check the bluebook value. Without knowing more about your vehicle, autobytel.com suggests a private party sale of anout $5000.

i got rid of my 98 f-150 a year and a half ago with the 4.6 in it and about 118,000 completely pimped out dual exhaust chrome rocker panels decals lighted visor bug deflector window visors for 7500 i was mad cause to me it was worth more but oh well. best truck i ever had 118,000 and the only thing i did to it was put in a new u-joint.

Try looking up the value on edmunds.com go to the used vehicle section and then research prices or something like that it is called and they give you a very accurate value. KBB is generally on the high side for what vehicles are worth. YOu can also try looking on autotrader or cars.com to see what they are selling for in your area. I work at a car dealership and I could tell you that your truck on our lot would be priced at about$7,990 or $8490 and they price our cars to sell, we won't haggle more than $500 95% of the time and thats at a dealer price, safety inspected and everything fixed but this is also WI, maybe trucks sell for more down there but if that got traded in your gonna be lucky to get $5000 from a dealer up here. Most private party people would prob be around $6500 or so.
