i bought a 05 4x2 chevy colorado to repair and either drive or sale but the resale value for the 4x2s are too cheap so im modifieing it to where it is a 4x4. what parts other than a transfer case transmition wireing and front differential. can anyone give any advice or a notice that more i need more parts.

 

go buy a 4x4 ... it will be alot cheaper! I'm sure your missing more parts then you think.

 

i actualy found a 4x4 today the salvage yard called me and i am going to repair it. thanks for the suggestion

 

You never want to get into converting a 4x2 if you can purchase a 4x4 to begin with. If you were to pay somebody to convert it, you're probably looking at around $10,000. I'm basing that on the cost of a 4x4 van conversion. Take your 4x4 and use the 4x2 for parts.
