Default Toy hauler VS 5th wheel and trailer

Thanks for the poo tip. Some horse trailers have every bit of the bells and whistles that any other camper or trailer could have. some of them are nicer that most peoples houses. Just like campers, and toyhaulers it all depends on how much you are willing to spend. I know of a MotorHome that has a spot for a golf cart and 2 horse stalls. We are talking BIG BUCKS here. Some people treat there horses better than they do their kids.[img]i/expressions/brokenheart.gif[/img]

I was told by a wise man to never marry a horse girl because she will never love you as much as her horses

Hope you enjoy the new trailer.

Well the horses are gone, and I have the Man of My Dreams.......and 3; 4-wheelers that don't poop in the floor and don't have to be fed when it is 40 below zero, I don't have to bale hay when it is 110 in the shade. i think I made a pretty good trade.

I would agree, that is a step in the right direction. Also you can go away without having to worry about someone feeding the horses. Have fun with new setup.

We still tent it......

The tents make it easier to get away (less trailers), but the comfort level in bad weather goes down hill fast

Tent + Wood stove I think is one of the nicest ways to camp in bad weather.

With time off being limited, though, I like being able to pull up, drop the stabalizers, extend the slideout, and be set up in 5 minutes...

The quality of tent is what makes it enjoyable. If you know your not getting wet, than sleeping on a rainy or cool night in the tent is the best.

Takes about an hour to set our complete camp up. Food tent and all the other stuff.

If you get an all day rain, head to town and catch a movie or two

Hey won't be tossing the tent out now. We still like to camp off the 4-wheeler. the main thing is that we all get out their and go.

You might actually think about a Jumping Jack to tow the quads on...

It would make a nice mud room/guest room to supplement the 5th wheel, and would be way nicer than a tent if you are just going overnight or whatever and don't want to drag the 5th wheel plus trailer.

They want almost $6000 for a jumping jack. That seems a little pricey for a tent on wheels. The thing is pretty cool, but I don't think that price is even close to being on par.

I think I will stick to the $300 quality tent and the small utility trailer to pull the quads. My truck has a cap on it to keep all gear from the weather.

I will be honest, the pictures and usefulness sparked my interest, but the price tag will keep me running for the hills.
