Default Polaris 07 sportsman x2 electrical issues

Ok heres my situation I have a 07 polaris sportsman 500 EFI went out to change the oil and the Battery was completly dead thought I had left something on so I checked all my switches, they were fine. I then charged the battery up to find the rear taillights were on even with no key in the ignition now my trouble shooting started. I read some threads stating the PCU maybe bad so I accessed the unit under the head light and disconnected the wire Harness (no Change with lights). then tore into the ignition switch and unplugged the harness to the switch and still no change now Im leaning towards a wire harness issue is there any other isolation tips someone can provide? Just for giggles i opened the ckt for the tailights and the battery still was dead after 4 days it didnt drain out as quick as when the taillights were on but still drained out. ( Battery is brand new)
