Ugh, CA won't slide into the Pacific. If it did, the Pacific Plate would have to move the entire distance of LA to San Francisco! (San Andreas is a strike-slip fault with the Pacific Plate going north.) I just can't see how we'd end up with Ocean Front Property in the valley unless all the glaciers melted. And I'm up about 350' plus over here so I've got a little more room than MD does.

When I looked last night about 10PM the aftershock count was up at like 293 or so. I actually copied the quake list and dumped them into Excel. hehe. Sorry, I just geek out on Mother Nature reminding us who really is in charge. Gotta shake things up a bit.

Good Morning Viet....OOppps, wrong show Sometimes this reads like a soap opera

Welcome Alucard What I want to know is? Did you read all 91 pages to get caught up with our topics?
I hear you on the plastolanche? Love them or hate them A local dealer wasn't selling them initailly. Then, he got the wild idea of painting the plastic to match the body color. It started selling, but, unfortunately for him, the paint didn't hold up to well Now, they look like crap. I just don't get it, when I drive down a dirt/dusty road with the rear window open, it sucks in all kinds of dirt. But, in the Avalache commercial, they show them going down a dirt/dusty road with the back wall lowered and no dust How could that be With my luck, I'd collect enough dust to plant an orchard in the truck

Hoss, the Lone Ranger is alot better then the obese lady you hadWhere's Tonto? I actually loved watching that show Saturday mornings at 11:30 on Ch 9

Toyo, I was thinking the same thing on it being a bolt on. Just wondering if it just plugs into something, or will I need to add a plug somewhere?

Skinner, Didn't realize you were that high up in elevation Yea, at 88 feet and looking at the Diablo Range to the west and Sierras to the east, I'm kind of screwed if the San Andreas decides to slip off into the Monterey Canyon You know the canyon is like 12,000 feet deep and bigger then the Grand Canyon
I see your holding your own in the BlackandWhite thread

On the warrior anyway you just take off the cover on the left side and bolt on the deal and thats it. no wires or nothing. its undo 4 allens and the crank bolt and then plug it on with the 4 allens and put the crank bolt thru it to connect it and your dont. piece of cake man. talkin about a 10 minute gig at most. on the warrior that is i dont know much about LT's other than when i was lil I rode a 500 and flipped it over backwards

okay Toyo, so i'm supposed to hold out for months, walk around bull-legged from the swollen MSB effect, THEN, when that romantic mood hits, I'll be lucky to reach the "repeat if necessary" part. hel, i think i would only get to the "in" part, and not even the "out". the current system works mildly okay, cuz I've never had to fake one yet, so i figure I'm doin pretty good. AND, I already had the funding cut off to the swim team. Thinkin of gettin that for the young boys for Xmas, cuz it's the greatest gift a man can get .

MD, there is a cover that you remove and the pull-start bolts on in it's place. it comes ready to go, you don't need to wind the cord or add the tension or anything complicated like that. piece of cake. get a new gasket tho, if you ride any water. hey, i know what IMH &O stand for, but what's the "TG" for?

as for the atv, size and weight are big considerations.

Hoss, the avatar does look more like the lone-h0mo-sheep-predator, so I guess if the shoe fits...And i never even thot of lone ranger for anyone. we'll have to keep that name in reserve for someone.

welcome Alucard. post a few more times and we'll rename ya. considering ya bought the avalanche, you may be Smithers, or Tonto.

I think I'll visit the Suzuki dealer today and inquire. They probably don't have it in stock and will take half of my life to get it inAnd I'll have to remember to get a new gasket too. Thanks for the reminder

MD I can pretty much hold my own, I think anyways. The Law and arithmatic are on my side. I'd love to see the justification they use for the tow ratings.

I only have a view of the Sierras most of the time. Sometimes you can't see em (generally the winter time because of the fog, sometimes in the summer time the smog is bad enough to obscure things.) On a clear day on an elevated section of the freeways you can see the coastal range out west. But that's about 50 miles away. On a really clear day you can see them from some of the areas up my LJ.

Oh and I forgot to welcome the new guy. First assignment is to rip all the plastic off that ugly freaking thing..... See you in about 3 weeks. hehehe. Joke. I've seen some body colored (maybe Sport models) and they look MUCH better. They ugly grey plastic just doesn't do it for me.

I happen to know an F350 PSD can tow 125,000 lbs UP HILL!!! lol put her in 4 low. and go. The lowboy couldnt make it up this hill to get into a quarry with a komatsu WA600 on the back and so we hooked up to the front of it and drug it up the hill. and another time the lowbed lost a driveline on the highway and pulled it about 5 miles with the PSD oh it had a wa600 on it that time too!! PSD can pull. lol the tranny cant handle it though
