Yeah, I went to the stealership today and forked over a hundred bucks.
you Utah people are so presumptious. This is Canada; it was a moose and an Elk. Duh!

So i got off cheap at $80? I still need 2 seals. And i had the strangest groove worn in my axle in line where the seal is supposed to ride. hopefully JB Weld will fix it good enough. I can also put a Speedy sleeve over it. The sleeve is $45 and it's a thin piece of nothing metal. It looks like it should cost less than a $1. whadda gyp. I'm too frugal to own atvs, everytime i go to buy something for them, i shake my head at the ridiculous prices. glad i don't own Polaris or it would just be 10 times as often.

Well it should be interesting and NOT DUSTY tomorrow if I make it up to ride. Got a message from LJ that's it's stormin pretty good. Radar is showing a lot of precip up in that area as well. Might need a tow strap to pull me into the staging are and back out. THough there's a small parking area right by the highway. And there's a 50% chance of rain. My luck I'd get sicker than hell. We'll see what the morning brings. Besides rain and cool damp air.

Hoss, i notice on your short leash you post 8 words MAX replies. Do you hide in the can and tap the keys lightly on your laptop so wifey doesn't catch ya? Kinda like the way you wear your girls tap shoes and walk lightly.

I think i got the LT 80 figured out. Now it's seals on the LT160 and I'm done.

rescue, when did they start telling the truth in your profession? j/k. so if some ****** is beaking off and your partner swings the 80lb flashlight across his skull dropping the ****** like a sack of potatoes, that's how your evidence would read?? OR, would it be a slightly sanitized version, like, "the purp attacked him so we used the reasonable force we felt necessary to subdue the purp". ?
You nailed it when you typed "reasonable force". On the subject, I'll say that the officer or no one else is worth my career or my family's welfare. If, a officer blantantly crosses the line, then, he'll have his day. In today's society, there really is no code of silence. People get to caught up in the theatrics of T.V. I am not saying it doesn't happen, I do live in the real world. But, I can tell you, we've had officers loose their jobs over the accusations of what you typedAnd, officers turned them inBut, remember we are human and just like everyone else; "Innocent until proven guilty" or "Rather be tried by 12, then, carried by 6"
