the Kootenays are gorgeous. 3 big mountain ranges...Monashee, Selkirk, Purcells, and actually backs onto the Rockies. Unbelievable Rec areas for lakes, hunting, fishing, quadding, snowmobiling, dirtbike, skiing, heli-skiing, x0country, old mine and ghost town exploration. Columbia River runs through it. the freaks are partly there cuz they can live in anonymity in the bush/mountains, and never be bothered. the cities and communities are actually quite neat.

Jason Bray is from there (Trail)... you know NL (?) Rookie of the Year!! He's a Pitts. Pirate i think. Is that NL??

C'mon now MD, that's a little harsh. CA is full of nutbars and freaks, but it still has more good people than POS. What you're saying is kinda like 'throwin out the baby with the bath water'!

Good ride today with LJ and another guy from here. Found some snow. Got stuck in some snow. Got towed through some snow.

Took some picks. I'll have to post them up as soon as I find my USB cable for my camera. And some GPS stuff as well.

yep, he was. it really is impressing the heck outta me, that little Breeze.

ya, we have to do some jobs to finish all the other renos off that we've done since we bought. there's about 10 things that are atrocious still (soffitt, some outside painting needed, old lino in laundry room will get tiled....but i'm not putting the heating wire under it this time,etc..).

there's a guy on our local forum/chatroom (www.quads.ca) who's trashing Bomb big-time over uncovered damage caused by "snow ingestion". if you're intereseted..... check it out. it's a small forum, so shouldn't be too hard to find it.
