Rescue: He did have the top off. I should have posted the pic I took of him cross a creek. Nice to see water out there that was crystal clear. And the top was off...that's why it's so flippin dirty. Not all level 3 roads are nice flat gravel things. I think that Jeep actually gives you instructions in the owner's manual on how to wash the Jeeps out (literally.)

Sounds like a cool trip to make. I'm game if you want to come ride up in the mountains here around Miami.

WW: I'd check your owners manual or call the dealer. I think everyone (manuf.) is different.

Thanks B&R. I just called the stealership and was told that Ford covers corrosion (inside-out) for 5 years. They won't cover things like chip damage, etc. My tailgate has about had it. I need to go have them decide if it's covered or not.

The tailgate is done in just 5 years? What about the rear insides of the fenders?

Road salt tears things up. I bought my wife a Lexus LS400 and it pretty much stays in the garage for the winter.

I'm not sure what's going on with my truck paint. It looks like it got painted at Maaco.

WW, I need to take my truck in too I have some paint bubbling on the passenger door and It's not from road salt B&R Maybe Salt water but not road salt

WW, when you did your fireplace, did it have a brick facia and mantle, that you had to tear down? That's what I need to tear down when I do mine.

B&R, I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, but maybe one day we can hook up. You have any rides planned between Aug 20-28th? Those are my actual free days. If I go to Pismo, looking at dates 22 thru 25th.

The fenders, etc. look okay. I bought the truck used, and it looks like it was repainted - $hitty.

eeeeewwwww, antonio, you deviant freak! you want to meticulously wash your daughter's boyfriends when they come over? eewww, you belong in PP's club.

I thot I'd use the trailer for toy hauling, but now I think it's a bit long and I'd rather find a nice enclosed toy hauler, but they're so expensive. I'll be into this for about 1k, 3 full days of work and it should be worth 2k after certification.yep, I definitely need some dough to pay for one of the new kids toys. And you gave me a great idea for the extra quad, so I may stick with quad deck and travel-trailer. It's awfully tough to go from 30' TT to an 11' camper.

the Breeze is waiting for an answer on the yamaha and kids quads forums, but I've pretty much finished it. guess i may need to get a manual for it.

hey, I'm not that old.... just turned 40 this year. I just figured out what fits where at an earlier age ( while PP was still trying to figure out which species he was most compatable with. If you listen carefully on a quiet night, you can still hear the sound of heart-broken sheep neighing). I had so much fun the first time, i thought I'd do it all over again. does that mean I'm ostracized from the FBK now? NO FAIR! PP's got several wives and stalks many more.

Antonio, I think you backhandedly slapped us in the face and then kicked us in the groin for good measure.

quote "Oh, i have a problem, I have 10 DAYS OF FREAKIN HOLIDAYS WITH NO WIFE OR KIDS, whatever shall i do?" we'd DIE for that dilemna!! pp would have a revolving door temporarily installed for that timespan, and his wife would have to double-shrink wrap him in a full body condom. I'm at a total loss for words (a rarity for me) as to what I'd do. If you make it north, you can stay in our spare room and I'll take ya ridin for a day. plus lots of other rec around here. or you could just go to your state's capital, Srotumento, cuz it's nice and close to home.

ya, enjoy the time, whatever... you squid!

I'll bet that your truck will be covered by warranty.

Fireplace: the wifey wanted the room painted again (3rd time in 3-years) to match the new leather couches, etc. Anywho, the tile surround on the fireplace didn't match, so I began to carefully take it off. One problem, the tile was glued onto sheetrock. I ended up cutting the wall out and replacing the sheetrock, which may I say is really fun. I ended up floating mud and mastic on the wall to make things even (it really sucked).

I hung the mantle a couple of years ago and didn't have to mess with it (luckily).
