Yeah, that's seems kinda funny. But strang stuff happens.

There's one road here that's insane. Completely straight. 50MPH speed limit. It's a designated, oh WTF, I can't think of the name. They get Fed money for it, because it's limited to access every 1/2 mile via lights. Expressway. The block wall on the south side has too many car size patches to count. The PD has no idea WhyTF there are so many single vehicle accidents. Neighbor's daughter went @ss end into the wall. She was rear-ended a day or two before at school (high-school). He thinks maybe something tweaked or broke and finally completely failed while she was driving. She wasn't speeding. Road was clear and dry. It just spun all of the sudden.

On a sad note Did watch a friend bury his 17 year old daughter She tried passing a F250 on the right, clipped his front bumper, lost control, shot over into the south bound lane and met her demise by the bumper of another F250 What was worse is, dad drove up on the wreck while the rescue crew was still getting her out of the car. Very sad
That is a real bummer MD, I dont know how people deal with such losses.
Having Faith helps But, still painful

Told my kids, they are to bury me. NOT me bury them.

Hey all! Just thought I'd bump this thread to the top.

Well, I've been forced to slow down. At 65 mpg, I get 16-17. I have to wear a flack jacket, but damn, fuel is expensive.

Oh, the kiddies go to school tomorrow...and wifey is very happy. Oh, pee boy struck again...this time, it was on the side of the house.
just some amateur psychology here, but i noticed he is a blond. Perhaps you and mom calling him the golden boy has confused him into the golden-shower boy????

man, do you folks ever start school early! whatever happened to AFTER the labor-day weekend?
LOL!

That's how it was When we were growing up. Always the Tuesday after Labor Day weekend Now, you just never know. Ours starts next week. My brother's kids are in the same school district, but the started on different days Try to figure that one out

All mine start tomorrow My two that are in HS start at 11:45. What's up wit that???

Is that a reversed Half day Maybe to let the teacher's sleep in one last time

What the H@LL is this nut teaching his kid (He will grow up to drive like the rest of Cali)
The kid and his dad need their permit/licenses revoked

My oldest has decided to wait a few weeks before she starts driving

We're slowing but shirley Making headway in our new house

What did you go with on the airbags? Did you get an on-board compressor too
house we want has an accepted offer (from us), subject to the sale of our place. yes, very stressed and anxious to get ours rolling. not sure how much longer owner will be patient, BUT, at any time someone else can come along and make him an offer, which would then give us 48 hours to remove our subject or lose the place. really hope that doesn't happen. i guess we paid too much for new place since nodody else has stepped up to steal it away from us.

glad to hear the moves have worked out for you and Hoss. now i wish our deal would be done, so then we can work on creator to sell next and move next to a golf course somewhere!!

i got the Firestone airbags (air-ride, or sompin like that). no on board compressor, BUT, i have the valves mounted on the side, by back door (driver side), so even one of those portable cig. lighter compressors will reach.

Oh, and I am running 3.73's on the PSD also.
Must be the tires then. And LJ's is a short bed, isn't your a long bed? The shell probably weighs more than the toneu.
It's a short bed. Shell does add a little bit of weight along with the sliding tray in the bed However, on my buddies F250 6.0. We saw an increase in mpg after his shell and sliding tray were added on.
I know after the tires and lift were added the truck lost 2 mpg per item So, if I add those 4 mpg back in, I'm getting around 17-20 mpg. Dang tires and lift

I prayed for it to work out for you 10 years ago, we lost a ranchette because of the contingency, that we had to sell our house.

Those are what I WAS looking at I wanted the onboard compressor, because I didn't want to continue bringing the portable one with all the time. So much nicer to just plug in the hose and walk around the truck/quad/trailer and fill them up
You should notice a big difference in the way it tows loaded now.
