Default which 4x4 should i get

hi
i am looking for a used mid size 4x4 that can handle a little mud. i have dirt bikes and sport quads now and i am running out of money fast, so a rincon, grizzly, prairie etc. etc. is out of the question. i have seen the wolverines before but i don't know much about them. i think that might be the size i am looking for. i am looking for something with proven reliability . any opinions would be appreciated.
thanks for your time
happy trails

Hello. Another possible 4x4 could be the Big Bear. It is a really neat atv with alot of potential. It has 2-4wd selectable with a great shifting transmission.

Good Luck and let us know what you choice is

Happy Shopping.

I'd also recommend a Bear - I've had one for 6 years, it's been very reliable. Not the fastest, but also not the most expensive.

For a mid sized machine the rancher is a very reliable machine that handles well and is very easy on fuel.

Don't forget the kodiak 450, great in mud and rough terrain especially with the diff lock.

Greetings mud things
My vote goes with a Rancher. Try to get one that is only 1 or 2 years old.
The first year production models had some problems but just make sure the updates have been done to it if you buy one.

rancher is a great quad for mud.But if u want a work quad the ranchers tiny 329cc engine just wont do it.but other than that there fun in the mud they will never get stuck.

The new 400at rancher will be available very soon. With the increase in power and automatic transmission it should be a great quad.
