Greetings
The Honda 300 is a great quad although it is under powered. Try putting a K&N Power kit and a Supertrapp pipe on it. Then stick a set of 25 inch Mudlites on the back and a set of 24 inch Mudlites on the front. The power kit and pipe will give you about 35% more power and the larger tires will give you more top end. I heard that u can put a cam out of a 250 Big Red in them and it gives them alot more power.

Keep the idea's coming, I got one of these 4wd lawn mowers too! I'm very interested.
btw, I went online to shop for some newer tires for mine, that's when I realized the front and rear tires are different sizes! WTF! What Honda rocket scientist came up with that on a 4wd? Is the 24/25 combination, close enough to the stock 23/24?

Greetings fellow mud beings
Yes MMwildman there is no problem going with the 25 inch tires on the rear and 24 inch on the front. A few friends of mine have those sizes on for the last 4 years and have had no problems.
HondaATC110Rules is right, the cam out of an 1985 Big Red is as good as any high performance cam you can buy for the TRX300.

keep in mind guys...the pre '90 300 already has the larger cam in it....so this "beafier" cam will only inprove the power on '90 and up 300's.
