my 2002 arctic 400 manual , i have gottin it up to speeds between 55-60 mph it aint bad . i would like to se how fast other people got theres to go .

 

When I was about 14, I pulled a really stupid stunt--I was chasing some boys down a country road. They were in a pickup, I was on a Honda 300. They told me the next day that they were running 50-60 mph and I was staying up with them pretty well. That was without any modification on the wheeler. Later, when it was about 10 or 11 years old, I raced my boyfriend on it. He had just bought a brand new 300 Honda. I beat him. My mom and dad also raced the two and the older one won. That thing is still running today--14 years old. It runs good and has no major problems. It has never been babied and still has no modification.

 

i've had my 1987 honda 250 up to about 45. i dont like it revving that high, but i was trying my best (lol) to keep up with a group of faster quads.

 

63 MPH @ 10,000 feet elevation.

2002 Suzuki king quad with 300 CC engine several times had it wound out to 46 MPH....But THAT IS IT....lol...I dont think it would do much more..not enuff horsepower to turn those tractor tires and the air drag..etc...

 

02 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4, got it up to 53mph and had a lil more gas to go but not much. Im pretty sure it will hit 55mph.

03 rincon 65 mph and I ran out of dirt road...
