i put a warn 424 select on my honda foreman. i notice now at speeds say 39+ the front end seems more loose ... is this normal ?

Possibly, did you double check all bolts that you had out while you installed it???

It is normal for the front end to feel lighter and steering easier at any speed because there is no power going to the wheels and they are not tugging on your arms as they get traction.
