I am going to buy new tires for my Honda Foreman, but there are so many options, I don’t know which tire I should go with. I ride in the mountain, climb hills, and use it for hunting. It seems like the 589’s would be too much tire. Anyone got any in-put?
I am not trying to repete the question, just looking for some help.

I run the 589 28 ONLY FOR WINTER.... I personally do alot of trail riding and the 589 are not trail tires too darn heavy and makes the front end come back down rough. The best tire "all around tire" for me is mudrunner runflats. They could be a bit better in the mud and snow but you just will not beat it on trail period. I switch tires and rims to the trail I plan on riding and conditions. Right now I have 3 sets of tires to choose from 589 on it now for the winter, runflats for summer and my trial rims have dirtdevils on them and they are ok but I don't think I will buy another set of them. You can not beat a bearclaw either.

I ran Bear Claws on my King Quad for over 4 years and loved them, excellent in mud, snow and good traction on rocks. Currently have Mudlites on my Kodiak, Bear Claws were not avaible when I wanted my machine so I went with the other, have not been let down. Got to play with them before it snowed to deep, found them to be a great mud tire of course, but they did great on the slippery rocks, one thing I did noticed, or I should say my riding partners did, they throw rocks, big rocks. Will have to watch my take offs when there are other people behind me. Took them back into the mountains during the first snowfall and we got over a foot and the tires got excellent traction in the wet snow but had to shift in fourwheel the next day after the cold dryed it out and turned it into powder rather then wet packy snow. They dug down through the snow and scraped the ice to get good traction. So far realy impressed with the alternative of the Bear Claw. Too much snow to test them any more, snowmobile time now. in 4x4 all the time compared one that selectable 2 wheel drive where you can spin only the back tires what I ment... I know that hondas now can have warn switches and some new ones come factory with switches I was talking about old hondas like the might 300 4x4.
