Woo Hoo !!! Got my new snow plow installed !!

I ordered a Cycle Country 60" State Plow with Manual Lift and installed it last weekend. I really considered the Moose County Plow, but after talking to a few dealers about the warranty service, and then talking to a few more owners with Cycle Country stuff, I decided on CC. I am very pleased.
It took some time to get the system tuned in and set up properly for my machine, but once that was complete, I was a snow plowing fool!! It was so much fun and so easy, I plowed out my neighbor and our road in no time at all.
Don't let anyone tell you a Foreman won't push a 60" blade either. It pushes it with ease, I was pushing 8 to 12 inches of relatively heavy snow, no problem.
The manual lift is nice too, very easy to lift up and quick. The cable system took a few adjustment to compensate for initial stretch, but once that was dialed in I was grinning ear to ear with the snow flying.
Just thought I would share my experiences since it's the season to buy a plow. If I had to do it all over again, I would make the same decision.

I have the same 60" plow. I got a red blade to match my red p700. i would definately recommend the cycle country plow. The nice thing about a 60" plow is it is still wider than the quad when you angle it.

This past winter I bought a 60" Moose plow, push bar, and mounting plate for my Kodiak 450 and it came to $375 OTD. The Kodiak pushes it w/o a prob, but 4wd is needed when the snow gets deep or wet/heavy. Unless, of course I get some speed up

I got a yellow 60" Cycle Country plow (w/flap) for my red P700..... and I LOVE IT!!! I got the electric lift for mine, and it works great, and doesn't drain the battery like the winch did. I am totally please with CC products!

Predator - I paid exactly $500 to my door, which included the 60" blade, the push tubes, the manual lift system, the mouting hardware, and those cute little blade markers. Sorry I couldn't pass them up.

If you get then manual lift does it all come off pretty easily for play time? And does this system work?
It seems the manual lift may be quicker to operate than an electrical system as long as the lifting effort
is not too stiff.

DaRiot,
The manual lift is super easy to take off. Three easy steps: 1. You undo the chain link which holds the main lift strap to the machine, 15 seconds. 2) Pull both release pins on the belly of the quad, which holds the push tubes to the frame, another 15 seconds. 3) Drive away from the assembly, and tuck in your lift strap, 30 seconds.
And the manual lift is very easy and fast to operate. I love it, it's simple and it was cheap. Easy to adjust / repair (if it ever needs it) and no electrical crap to hook up.
