Default KING QUAD, bouncing, and handling poorly

my 2 yr old king quad 300 seems to handle poorly, Seems to have gotten worse recently...front bounces a lot, on bumps and when braking...but back holds firm. I still have the stock shocks, but wonder if they can be refilled or replaced with better ones...anyone have any experience doing either??

Odd...my nine year old KQ doesn't do that and I've hit more than one surprize cross-ditch at more speed than prudent and no such problem. A two year old machine shouldn't have worn out the shocks unless you motocross the thing all the time. Give a jump on the front carrier and hop off in the same movement. The machine should just go down with your jump and come up overcenter and go right back to ride height and stop there. If it bounces more than that the front shocks aren't doing it, whatever the reason.

The king quad has poor shocks to begin with. Upgrade to an aftermarket shock. If you push down on your quad and then on a sports quad you'll see that the sport quad has more dampening than your's . My bro in law has the King Quad and compared it with my vinson, the king quad is bouncy, not much dampening there. I think they made the King quad to be a work horse and didn't pay much mind to the ride.
