I own a yamaha warrior. My dad has just baught a yamaha Bear Tracker. I took it for a ride the other day and I was very surprised with it. Despite it not haveing four wheel drive it seems to go wherever. It is also very good all around atv. I would say that this is a realy good atv to own and ride. It also goes very good in the snow

Is that weight correct? I knew the beartracker was heavier than the Recon but is it 474 lbs?

 

That might be a little off because over at Yamaha's site they list dry weight at 441 Lbs.

 

I do not know what the actual weight is but my wifes Timberwolf feels about as heavy as my Kodiak.

This is the same as the Bear tracker but it is fourwheel drive and I will tell you are right they are fun little machines. I love riding it around the backyard, it wheelies easier the the Kodiak. AlaskaBoy.

I know they made them, but I have never seen a 4x4 Timberwolf.

The Bear Tracker is an improved 2x4 Timberwolf.

 

I wish they'd make a 4x4 Recon. (selectable 4x4)

I don't know about a 4X4 recon but if it had (selectable 4x4) and would have the same feel as it does now, WOW
