Tire recomendations for Kodiak 400

I like some of this talk about the Bear Claws. I am looking hard at the claws my only concern is with the tread depth. I would like to stay with the stock 25" but would like the extra depth of the 26".
I would love to hear a few more thoughts on the Bear Claw. How do they ride on hard packed or even on a gravel road? Will they turn a little mud? They just look like a great all around tire for my part of the country.

yeah, there is always an upgrade that I wish I had. I bought it because of the diff-lock, theres a lot of machines that don't even offer that! I am keeping my eye on that Brute Force thats coming out! A friend of mine has a 05 700 prarie on order as we speak so I will be looking forward to trying that out!

They ride really well on te hardpack. Like I said earlier, I have 25's and like them. After having them on 3 other quads its almost time to replace them. They still have tread but I would like to get some new rubber on the front rims.
25x 12'12 on rear and 10x8s on the front

I just put 27-12-12 Claws all the way around on my Big Bear. In the Real Gooey mud, If you dont keep them spinning they tend to pack up a little bit more than i like, they ride very good for and agressive tire, they dont seem to have the "headshake" that my dads Mudlites have at slow speeds and i have had a pair previously ona 2wd quad so i already know that they are going to last forever. I would recomend then to anyone who wants a tire than can do it all without giving up to much of one thing to do another.

I had decided on the 26" Bear Claws with my second option being 26" Dirt Devils. As I have brand new stock tires and am having a hard time convencing my wife I need new ones already I had not bought anything yet. Then I met a fellow with a set of Dirt Devils and we worked a great deal. So due to the great deal on the Dirt Devils that will be my next tire. I will have them on soon and will give you all a report.
