Default irs?

why is SRA more reliable than IRS? what are some downsides of IRS? thanks.

I wouldn't say that SRA's are much if any more reliable than IRS. IRS does have more working parts - u-joints etc, so yes, there is more to go wrong.

Pros for IRS:

Smoother overall ride
Better handling and traction in slow technical riding
Greater ground clearence

Cons for IRS:

Slightly 'tippy' feeling in some models
Less ability to powerslide - less sporty ride overall
More weight
More cost

I've had both and expect the next ATV to have IRS.
