HMF quiet pipe

Starky, Had a chance to get a little ride in last weekend on my Grizz with the QS1 pipe installed. For starters it is louder than stock but not nearly as loud as the HMF utility pipe. It has a very good tone to it and I don't think it will be offensive to most people, however if you are using it for hunting or riding populated areas just remember it is louder than stock. As far a performance the gains are subtle but noticeable on the low and mid range acceleration. I did not have a good chance to run it wide open but after 40mph I did not notice any difference. The difference is between the 5 and 30mph range.
I have a K&N filter with an outerwear on it and no air box modifications. After installing it I did a plug chop, temperature at 63 and low to moderate humidity and it appears to be running about perfect with the stock jet of 153.8 at wot. So far I have not checked the midrange jetting but I will be checking that also soon. Since this was my first attempt at doing a plug chop I took some photos and notes and will do it again nest weekend just to reassure myself that it is running well.

Thanks for the report. I immagine if you were to do some airbox mods and rejet there would be a considerable differance in power.
Have you done any clutch work? Also, how do you like the 26 inch tires. I'm getting the 26 inch Dirt devils. Unfortunately I'm not going to be around for a year to play with it.
