i was just wondering if the bigbear reacted good to mods like pipe/airfilter/jetkit or anything else that mgiht bring up the power?...i did a search and didnt find much...also if it does do good with mods what are some pipes you would reccomend?...i already know kn airfilter and jetkit...thanks

i had a 01 bigbear . i put a supertrap isd2 a k/n filter and a carb kit on it, it did improve the response mainly the low end not much on the top end.i was happy but also felt like it was a lot of money for the result. the itp489 tires were the best value, it really got traction.at the time i had the big bear there was no cam for it, but now there are a few and hear they help out the top end better if your looking to race around a little.

 

alright...thanks...i've been looking at the ids2...have you heard anything about the HMF utility slip-on?...besides that its loud?...ive heard the power gains are supposed to be the best...and i was thinking about the 589's...a friend of mine had the oem 489's and he popped one out on the powerlines...they are only 3 ply and where i ride its real rocky

 

There is guy that rides with us that has a Bear with a K&N and a White Bros. E-series I belive ( havent ridden with him in awhile) and his has a significant amount more power than mine.
