Oh yes, synthitic oil, and gear lube is a must!

That's great info. They also make battery warmers which work great. I have them on my truck but haven't seen them for the quads.

Loki2, sounds like you live just north of Santa Clause. It got down to -46 last year. That was an all time record breaker where I live in N. Dakota. When it gets that cold the numbers don't really matter much any more.

-46 counts as cold, and you are right, much past -25, and it is just Cold, or Colder. I will go out at -35 if there is a reason, and some times I just want to see if the Rhino will start, and how it behaves.
I gotta go, Santa just stopped by for a drink....................

Up-date

Just got home. Had a new spark plug from the Raptor (same type for the Griz) put it in and it fired right up. Of course it was a balmy 20 degrees. I found an in-line water heater for a Polaris. The dealer said it will work on the Griz as well. Going to put it on in a couple days. I also decided to buy another griz. My wife claimed mine, so I have to get another one. They have one in Hardwood that will be in the back of my truck on Friday.

I run Amsoil Synthetic oil in a 0-40 weight, and it is a great oil especially for the cold months. My 2003 grizzly started awesome in the cold, better than my 2005 King Quad which is fuel injected. My friends have a 2002 and a 2004 Grizzly and they both start excellent in the cold weather, they also run the Amsoil 0-40.Maybe your new Grizz will show the older one how it's done.
