What's in Your utility box

So I go out and buy a utility box to mount on my ATV. For trail riding what do you all put in the box. Tow strap, tools, tire patch kit ect. What do I need?

There are some old posts on this topic. Some guys don't leave anything at home!

I personally prefer to travel light. In the bikes trunk, I carry a tire patch kit, CO2 to air the tires up, tow strap, and basic tools. In the rack bag, I carry the same stuff I carry in my pack when riding a sport bike: Lots of water, Gore-Tex jacket, toilet paper, a couple of power bars, basic survival kit and poncho, and a S&W M360 kit gun (weighs only 12 oz!) in some areas.

Most of the time, I only carry a rain poncho, matches and t.p.

In the winter and on longer trips, I carry more.

Couple knives
gun
camera
poncho
matches
waterproof matches
tire repair kit
tp
gps
maps
extra batteries
towel
extra socks
folding saw
folding shovel
a couple tow straps
basic tools
a couple emergency blankets
compass
flint
sharpening stone
mess kit
can opener
water
some kind of canned food (sardines)
flashlight
Sometimes I might take a tarp and some rope.
I know I'm forgetting some stuff.

yeh, the stuff listed plus some nails, plenty of 1/4 inch rope (you can double or triple it for more strength), mechanics wire, spare drive belt, shovel, space blankets, couple of 8 X 10 foot blue plastic tarps, candles, come-along and Hi-Lift jack. A well equipped first aid kit with suture set in it is always a must. Sometimes I have my little Honda generator and some power tools with me, depends on the projects at hand. When working in the mountains alone go out planning on being home for supper but ready to stay a few days.
