Default A-arm guards

Does anyone have problems with their A-arm guards collecting mud and damaging the drive shafts and boots?
Especially if it was allowed to dry packed around the shafts.

What's better 3 sided or 2? front /bottom/ rear

Any brand recommendation, I purchased the Polaris plastic ones but they seam cheep.

---This is a repost from the Polaris forum, sorry, thought i would be better surved here.

I have 3 sided, and have exp. no problems. But, I wash mine after heavy muddin'. aluminumproducts.com has some good ones. High Lifter, Oxlite, any of the parts peddlers. They're all pretty much the same. I went w/ the factory Suzuki-off of e-bay because the retainers grip the tops of the lower a-arms and don't have the u-bolt nuts and threads hanging below the guards. We do quite a bit of rock bashing, so the threads would get f'ed up if that crap was hanging, making removal for service a beotch.

I have the HighLifter ones and also wash them out after each ride. They are money well spent....my buddy put a hole through my CV boot the second day after I brought my brand new Rancher home. Some folks on here have enjoyed the quick clean ones available on EBay where you can pull a quick release pin and clean them easier.
