Default "Sleeve" hitch

Does anyone know what a sleeve hitch is? A buddy of mine wants to use his Foreman to pull implements and some require a sleeve hitch. This isn't a reciever tube. It looks like a regualr pin type that would drop through a standard ATV hitch, except the top and bottom are about 8" apart. I know this prob. doesn't make sense, as I don't know how to explain it. The plow ect. he is looking at purchasing are in Northern Freight catalog.

Default "Sleeve" hitch

Well, maybe this will shine a little light on the subject, clickey here
If you can, view the video at the bottom. This would be an alternative for the ATV to use most sleeve hitch tools.

A sleeve hitch is kind of like a 3-point set-up on a tractor. Used to not only attatch the tool ( disc, harrow, mower etc.. ) to the ATV or garden tractor. Part of its function is to lift and carry the tool to where it will be used, because the tool may not have transport wheels.
To get a better picture of how they function you could check out one for a garden tractor on Sears web site, or do a search on them with Yahoo or Google.
I have a lawn sweeper I pull with my ATV that has a sleeve hitch on it, but I can use it with my existing hitch because it has wheels on it and adjusts up and down on the transport wheels. The hitch has spacers to make up the gap on top and bottom of the ATV's flat hitch and keeps it from bouncing around. Some attatchments need the sleeve on the hitch to use them.
