Quadrunner questions??
#1
I'm looking at an 88 model 250 4x4 as a fixer upper for hunting/mud riding. Fella selling it says it needs carb working, right front boot and ujoint. Says the motors good, but it does have 4k miles. He only wants $250 for it. Anyone familiar with this ATV, any comments or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

PS Why is there a Suzuki 230 and 250 Quadrunner?

Thanks, I went ahead and bought it today. He also sold me a parts ATV for $100 more. I started working on the front end today, but i can't get the CV axles out. I got the outboard end loose, but the inboard side won't come loose on either side. Both sides have busted boots. Any suggestions?

i got a 1987 suzuki 250 4x4 and well it was willed to me a few years ago when my great uncle passed away i have done a bunch of work to it but still need to buy fenders and work on the brakes and put a carb kit in it. i did replace the boots on the front end but it was about 5 years ago and i can't quite remember how they came apart. are they the same as the new ones where you grab the whole cv joint and jerk on it and it pops out of the front diff? but suzuki did have a great atv for the year i mean 2wd 4wd and diff lock high low and super low range and independent suspension. they were about 10 years ahead of their time.

I've got the bike now. Got the axles done, now on to the brakes. Wheel cylinders were stuck, but i got tthem loose. Tore up the boots, though, had to order more. My local mech said not to bother with the back brakes, they last no time??? Hopefully it'll be in good shape in about a month!!
