Well I finished it ,I had to buy a front yoke and cut it down to make a collar with the splnes,I cut the front drive shaft down joined it with a collar,pin welded it so no distorsion and welded the collar I made out of the yoke on the splined end of the orrigional shaft and the 424 goes in the same as the models with the short shaft. I made a hanger bearing to run on the front of the shaft to keep everything inline.My front shaft was 19.5" long, and from end of shaft to end of collar it is 11.5" long after rework,the 424 takes up the rest, works perfect.Now I can be free of that full time 4 wheel drive and use it when I need it. Its great to have the tools to do what ever you like.
