Default PLEASE HELP

i got a 1986 suzuki lt 250,what is the plunger for on the carb,why when i roll the motor over with the starter it wont start but when you use the pull cord it will start.

Yup, that's funny.

Redneck, sounds like a low voltage problem. Is the battery charged up and in good shape? Terminals clean and all that regular stuff? Sounds like when the voltage drops when the starter is operating the voltage is too low to fire the plug.

the plug is firing when you roll the starter over,im boosting it off the car

I would suggest you ask the folks in the Suzuki area. I really dont work on the quads that much, I figure it's time for my boys to take care of my stuff now.
