What have you done to improve the headlights situation on your quads? My stock headlights pretty-much suck... thanks

My stock lights are pretty good, better than alot of other manufactureres lights. However last winter I installed a set of mini driving lights on my quad, initially I bought them to go on the rear but because of their small size I mounted them on the front grill. They add a whit light to the trail especially on snow lol. They are not as bright as I expected so if I get around to it I may put them on the rear and buy a different set for the front (Princess Auto has a good selection of small driving lights). My bike is pre wired for both driving and reverse lights, I not sure about the Kodiak though. I didn't realize it though untill I had already installed them directly to the battery with a switch on the fairing baracket.
I have head some people buy brighter halogen or xenon bulbs.
check out this pic to see the lights Light pic
If you look close in this pic near the lcd pod just behind the brake line you can see the blue switch. Switch location

i know how bad the stock lights stink. I went out and just got some cheaper driving lights from walmart and they are leaps and bounds better then the stockers at night. Just a 20 doller investment and they work great.

It depends on what you are doing what kind of lights you need. For night work at low speeds I have found a set of shock resistent rubber tractor lights mounted on a board work really well. One set on the front and another on the rear just held in place with a couple of bungi cords and you are good to go. They don't work well for higher speeds down the road but with their wide angle beam they sure light things up for mowing and such.

thanks squeege, I'm tyring to put on a variety of pics to show how I use my bike. I checked out you pics and a video nice bike black looks good I was going to get a set of XL's but I think I'll wait till the fall. I guess they are much better than stock tires.
tencube-I was thinking of getting those tractor lights and mounting to a temp bar that I could put on as required. I guess you beat me to it do yoiu have a pic of your setup?

i actually just replaced my tractor lights with the lights from walmart. I ride tight trails in the dark and they worked extremely well but after awhile of riding they would burn up the fuse so i switched my lights. IM hoping these lights will work longer so my fuse wont pop.

Sorry, no pictures. I've never attempted to any pics to the web. Pretty simple setup, just a couple of two pole flat connectors, one at the front and one at the rear fed thru a common 20 amp fuse. #12 wire to the battery. Just unplug them to shut them off. Piece of 1X6 makes a suitable base.
