Default what color wire?

I just got my Venom winch 3000lb and I was curious about which color wire are you suppose to tie into. Also where did you mount your contactor. I have a 06 BF 750i. Thanks for your help.

I have a 650V2, which is probably different, but i installed my contactor under my seat, and mine is able to work at all times. Its easier to hook it direct to the battery. It wont drain your battery unless you use it alot without the machine running.

Thanks V2rider, on the brute force I ended up splicing the wire at the back of the Brute where you have a extra plug , so I didnt have to cut into my switch wires. I also mounted my contactor uder my seat where the tools go. I do have one question though, On your winch I only had a place for 2 bolt to mount it to the plate, Is yours the same way? I wonder is that enough bolts?

I havnt had any problems with mine. And the only reccomendation from others is to buy your own good quality grease, take it apart, and grease it. I havnt done it yet, but a couple have had the grease in their winch dry up . Im sure i will do it sometime, but for now its working great! Good luck, and have a good fourth!
