no low range=huge drawback

no diff lock=not good, but i read a post that you can apply the front brakes and get the same effect.

they look good, tho. i keep reading about the Rincon's lack of power, but that is relative unless you ride with people that like to go fast all the time. (i don't).

one of the best for comfort, i hear.

LMAO agreed that has got to be the most retarded screen name I am ever seen on the Forums. As far as the Rincon it all depends on what you want to do with it. I have a friend that loves his but I have rode it and think it is a piece of junk. My Rancher 400 has more snap and handles way better than the Rincon IMO. If your going to get a big bore there are many better options out there.

Default Honest opinions on the Rincon

Alot of people do say they are underpowered but I have to disagree. Most of these other big bore quads are twin or v twin. I have a sp600 and the rincon. My rincon smokes the 600 and can hang pretty good with a BF650, sp700 and king quad by about 3-4 quads behind which is pretty damn good for this single cylinder underpowered 650. Yes all these quads have more power but with 2 cylinders you are going to have more power and torque. So to say that a single cylinder 650 is underpowered is not accurate. I think the power to weight ratio is better than most quads out there (except the brp800) and being only one cylinder has alot to say about the power compaired to the twins. It handles awsome on the tight fast trails unlike these other heavy big quads. The rincon will smoke most of these on the trails. I will admit it is not the best mudder but thats why I have the sp600. The Rincon does not have a difflock but yes you can tap the brakes and the diff locks both sides in so I have not had any problems with keeping all 4 tires going. No low gear again not a work horse but if you keep it in first it has a low first gear so it really dont need a super low gear. The rancher 400 has nothing on the Rincon except it is a workhorse. Your 400 may be snappy but with a top speed of about 55mph you really cant compair the 400 to the 650.The Rincon is not made to be a workhorse. There is no other big bore on the market that is more reliable than the Rincon. I can name pages of things that go wrong with about every big bore out. The rincon really dont have any problems. You see them with 6,7,8k miles on them with no problems but my sp600 is on its 3rd front diff, second set of cv boots, 2 axles, speedo, lots of bushings all within 2000k miles. My rincon has 1200 trouble free miles. There is no perfect quad out there but every quad fits a certain rider. It should not matter what anyone rides as long as we all stick together, have fun and keep our places open.
