Default In your opinion did I make the right decision?

Here's the deal. I just purchased the grizzly 700 on saturday. When I was at the dealership the salesman was pushing the outlander 800 on me really hard. I went there with the grizz in mind and done my research on the yamaha. He was willing to give me the outty for the same price. I chose to go with grizz because i have always owned yamaha and never have had a problem. And i didn't know much about bombardier. The question is if in my shoes what would you guys have done?

Great choice. I would have chose the grizzly over the outy any day(especially knowing all the problems my buddies outlander has given him). It has a better diff lock and the new 700 seems to be allot better then the old grizz. congrats.

either one would be a great choice, I might have gone with the Outty if it were the 2-seater, but otherwise the Grizz

The outty has alot more power but they are not holding up very well. The grizz is proven and still has great power. Good choice.

Its good to see you guys would have made the same decision. I know the outty is rediculously fast but when i did go home and do some research on them it seems that they have a really weak frame and they don't hold up as long as yamaha. Ive only owned yamaha and the majority of my friends have yamaha and there isn't many complaints.

Both would be on top of my list, but for the same price I would of got the Outty. I love power and handeling. I don't know where all this frame talk is about, but every issue of frame bending is due to a crash of some sort, like hitting trees or stumps and so forth. I've never heard of anyone breaking doing normal riding. And most of those crashes are people who don't respect the power of that 800. As far a holding togeather, seen many at the GNCC races and they seem to be doing just fine. They had a few bugs on there first year in 06, but 07 many are fixed. I'm sure the Grizz with have a few hiccups. The complaints I hear now are, hard shifting, soft front suspension, and the plastic connectors getting loose fast. But again both would be on top of my list.

i also would have went with the grizz. just because the outty has the most power doesn't mean it is the best machine either. you will never hear an atv magazine say that but it is true.
