Here's an Interesting Thought----

i wish someone would go out and buy a ac, polaris, kawasaki, honda, yamaha, can-am, and suzuki atv. maybe in the 500cc range. keep them for a year and do a complete test ride. use them for utility and for fun. then keep track of all of the pro's and con's of each atv ie- breakdowns, major repairs, comfort, etc. then list them on a spreadsheet so that you could compare the results. that might help us newbs with deciding on what to buy for our first atv.

I think your trying to discourage yourself from getting an ATV. If you see something you like just buy it and hope for the best. Every brand has good ones and then there are the lemons....Good luck with your choice.

If someone did that it would be one persons opinion. Take me for example. I don't like engine braking. I think that 99% of the time it is annoying. Also I don't care that I don't have a locker. It would come in useful sometimes, but I can still go where I want. Some people think you can't get out of your own yard without it. Its more of a to each their own thing. You need to get out and look and possibly ride a few different ones and decide for yourself.

I volunteer.
Now if everyone would just send me $100, I'll use the money to buy all these machines and do the tests on behalf of everyone.
I promise.
