Great question, I am about to embark on an ATV ownership journey, and I would like to know that I am getting what works best for me! I didn't realize that belt drives have come so far in the technology world!

OK, on a CVT drive the belt is tight all the time and the clutch will do all the work and enguage when the rpm increases? and on the PVT drive the belt is loose all the time, spinning on the clutch pulley and the belt tightens up as the rpm increases? Is that right or not?

no, I was talking about the little price difference between the new Suzuki King Quad 450 and the King Quad 700, what I was saying for what they want for the price of the 450 you can buy the 700 for only $400 more, and I was explaining how the King Quad 450, the Yamaha Kodiak 450 and Grizzly 450 the engines look the same and saying they have to be made by the same engine factory in China. You think im crazy? Go to the Suzuki and Yamaha Dealer and look for yourself! They all are the same engine!

I vistited a Suzuki Dealer yesterday, got a OTD price on a new 2006 DRZ400S $5387.94, talked about a trade in price of my 2005 M50, without looking at it he offered me $3100. Also looked at the King Quad ATV at reduced price of $6599, with a trade in of $3800 for my 06 Eiger. What I want is a double deal get rid of the M50 and the Eiger and get a new King Quad and a new DRZ400S. The King Quad at $6599 is a steal, but im going to have to spend an additional $1K for a plow and a winch for it, the plow and the winch on my Eiger is included on the trade in price. I could use the plow and the winch from the Eiger only spending a small amout of money for mounting brackets. I can't make up my mind. The $6599 for the King Quad is the price without taxes and prep, im guessing the OTD price would be at least $7K, 6% tax and $195 prep
