Hi am soon to purchase a 2007 big bear 400 4X4 IRS! I do almost nothing but mud! well i do go to the lease allot but mostly mud.. the main reason for this post is to ask if anyone knows of any know problems? I have plenty experience with yamahas and love them but was just making sure that there is no problems that are seriouse! any help is well apreciated!

Do they have the same air filter design as the Warrior/Raptor?

not sure what that design is it is similar to the one on beartracker or timberwolf or bruin and mby 400 grizz/kodiak

Are you a smaller guy? If you ride mostly mud... Why not go a little bigger?? Say... at least a kodiak/Grizzly 450... or bigger?

thanks for the input!! one more question... does any one know if it would turn 28's i dont think i could tuck them in there but if i got a lift would it turn them very well????

I honestly think you would have some difficulties... especially with the stickier mud... Reverse will have even more trouble...

idk.... i have 25" 589's on my 250 beartracker and it has some problems.. but i still can spin them a lil! i dont belve i would have any troublwe in rev. b/c my 250 willl spin them like crazy on concrete sand muf dirt what ever you throw at it... so i couldnt imagine it having trouble in rev. idk we will see! i am for sure getting the big bear but i might have to stick to 26 or 27's b/c i know it will spin them fine....

500cc 4x4's have problems turnin 28's in the mud and they start to overheat over time
