It wont beat a 2 stroke dirt bike, but a Renegade 800 is definitely the muscle car of utes. Come on man, its only $9270 before taxes. (and its technacally not an Outy 800 )

Yea I looked at the Can Am 650 they seem nice, but I heard alot about frame issues. I almost popped out the credit card on a great deal on a Vinson 500 but I really domt know how much of a move up from the Big Bear that will be. The problem is all the dealers around here will not let you ride befor you buy. Thats where the Big Bear fell short after less than 50 miles im already bored with it. Hell I got rid of my 03 Busa and got an 05 Warrior 1700, and that is supposed to be the sportiest crusier and I think its a dog. So now I must get my trills on a new faster quad. What about a NEW left over Prarie 700 i see them cheep. Like $5300-5500 range on Ebay.

For the money the P700 or even the BF650 SRA are both awesome machines priced in the 5 K range
For all out performance, and no reguard to price the Outlander 800 is the top dog. Followed as mentioned by others the Outlander 650. Any of these models will be a blast to play on and can handel any 4x4 ute task you may be inclined to through at it.

A word of advise, if fun factor is a high priorty then look for either SRA machines like the prairies or pony up for a Outlander because these are about the best utes I have been able to find that allow for extreme play. The only frame issues the outlanders have had all involved collisions and any quad in a wreck can get its frame bent. So don't buy into all the frame BS.

If you really like the power, its gonna cost. The Renegade is the baddest of them all. But the Brute 650 will easily do what your asking. The price isn't that bad on them either. But maybe you should look around at some other dealers. Find one that will let you at least ride around the parking lot. If they think your serious about buying, they might let you.

If you want 'white knuckle acceleration', then a Kawi or Rotax vtwin would give the biggest grin factor. Any of the big bores will be a HUGE improvement over your big bear tho. I have ridden one (big bear 350) and they are SLOW.

Even a Vinson 500 would be quite a big step up in performance and power tho over the 'bear. But Brute Force 650 SRA's are a really good deal, and if you want a comfy IRS ride then the 650i is only a little more $$$.

Otherwise a Can-am 650 would be sweet too, I am personally a bit ticked off the way Can-am left the underside so unprotected, but that is easily remedied with some aftermarket skid plates.

Try them all out and see what one you like most, and what one works best with the budget you have.

The Brutes would have better low end 'oompff' then the King, but neither is a slouch.

My vote is for a Brute 650, either SRA or IRS.

The one thing I have found over the years is that power is adictive and once you get a tast you can never seem to get enough. RRRRRRR< RRR RR R R R LOL

Point being if you are going to spend the money then get the most power that you can afford, so you are not kicking your self a few months from now when you are board or regretting not getting a bigger, more powerful machine.

Ok I think I am going with a BF. What sould I be paying? I will be buying new, so far I have:
05' BF 750 new $6200
07' BF650 SRA new $6000
these are out the door prices. What do you guys think?
I also plan on jetting and piping and adding aftermarket tires, 25" though as i still want power to the ground.

Personally I think the 650 SRA would be a lot more fun to ride, The 750 handles pretty poorly. I can't really say how bad a sight patrol might be watching. But ride the two and you will see.
