I went to go get the 500 deluxe and ther was problems already. The shifter was touchin the plastic and I put it in high and the tranny grind. I turned it off and I heard a clicking noise. I told the salesmen I did not want it so I got my money back and I am getting a RELIABLE GRIZZLY 700FI. So can you tell me the problem I had with the 500? And tell me about the grizz 700?

Its a POLARIS haha anywho, sounds like shift linkage was off. Did you buy your grizz from the same dealer. Sounds like you should bought the grizz in the first place.

sounds like a good day to me. you could have taken it home and these things could have started after you got a couple hundred miles on it. now you are out nothing and getting a machine that is twice as reliable.

rtboy, alwaysride is likely correct, however when you shift the sportsmans they tend to grind alittle, you can't be a whimpy moving through the gears, the level of bad mouthing on this thread of the sp 500 is alittle out of touch with reality, why did you buy the sp 500 in the first place? what did your dealer say when you explained the problem? did you talk to others who own either one of these bikes? good luck with the grizz, ride safe.
