Default Raptor 660 case cracked

Lots of the rappys I see have the case cracked where chain has flown off & busted case...how does this happen?Does the case savers not work???My used bike has same problem the chain came off & hit the side case & knocked off the top screw hole, now how can I use a case saver to prevent MORE damage next time it happens???Any help guys? Thanks

jb weld it back on and the worse that could happen is it bust the jb weld off........i had that problem on one of mine. make sure to keep after chain adjustment, alignment and lubrication. you shouldnt have that problem if doing that. the idea of the case saver tab being jb welded back on is at least it wont tear the case up any worse. it will come loose instead of crackin it worse.

the one under the sprocket should only have one wire. it is for reverse. i would almost bet someone grounded it out to get rid of the rev limiter in reverse.
