Dont know much about the griz (Montana griz. football team is 4-0). My brother has the 450 yammy and it seens to be really sweet. We ride lots of trails, mud, snow and anything else we come acrossed on the trail and it seems to eat it up. I would say there a good machine since its always behind my honda...LOL...

They seem to have nice features, and the people I've talked to that have them have been happy. I've seen one claw it's way out of a slippery, steep, gnarly section of trail that was impressive (also, a good rider on board).

Anyway, welcome to the site, and enjoy the machine.

I'm not that familiar with that particular machine, but for people who go into deep water it's a good idea to hit the connectors with dielectric grease... Probably a good idea to remove the negative battery cable, then unlock and unplug various connectors, apply grease and reconnect. Dielectric grease is available at most any auto parts store.

If you are looking at frequent deep water, there may be vents and other things you might want to seal/snorkel... You might post in the yamaha section to get more exposure from experts to your specific quad.
