Buy Suzuki Vinson or keep my Polaris Sportsman?
#1
I currently have a 2002 Polaris Sportsman 400 it is completly stock other than a clutch kit. I have a chance to get a good deal on a like new Suzuki Vinson 500 with only a 100 miles. Should I buy it and sell mine or will I not see much of a difference and keep the Sportsman 400. Is the Suzuki any faster then the Sportsman. I am not looking for top end I like all the torque I can get. That is why I put a clutch kit in my sportsman but even with that I am not really pleased. I want something with more torque. So what should I do?

Do it, you will have more power for sure . Here is a 500 Utility review Vinson in 500 Utility comparison.
Even against 450s and 500 it has one of the stronger motors for its class.

What about ground Clearance and I.R.S.???..........Caper......There are other stuff to consider when buying a ATV...........I looked for alot ......also did two months research before I bought............Lighting,storage ride, ground Clear, brakes Disc, towing Cap, All needed to be looked at before I bought!!....Just some things to think about!!

Specs for a 07 Vinson 500 Pretty well the same specs for any years, nothing change since they came out in 2002.

The guy was talking about a 2002 " 400 Sportsman" with the older 425cc engine not a "450 Sportsman" with the 455cc, I do not think the 500 Vinson would have much of a power advantage over that model to make it worth his while.
