Homemade plows??
#2
Well, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying one. I put one together for about $75. I didn't have to buy the blade though. And I definitely over-built mine. I didn't realize how flimsy the store-bought ones were until after I made mine out of 1/4" thick, 3"x4" angle iron. I guess the fact that the push-carriage is stronger than the frame of my quad means that it'll last quite a few years.

a simple way of making the blade would be getting one of those 55 gallon metal trash barrels. ( the kind you see at public fields) Then you cut the trash barrel in half and you you yourself a perfectly curved plow, that is also very sturdy.

people around here get old water heaters 40gal is the norm and cut out a section with the grinder also them cut them from old furnace oil tanks (cut out the bottom). most run C-channel to the rear and hook it to the ball with coupler. also have a plate on the front frame with U-bolts that has a place to slide a pin through to keep the front up. Raise and lower with winch.
