For those who may experience a power shut down on their Garmin when mounted on their quad, I have just learned of the solution.First, tho, the problem is caused by the batteries losing contact with each other during hard riding: to cure this, wrap a small piece of SarAN wRAP around each pair of batteries & re-insert into the unit. This holds the individual batteries in contact with each other, and the spring holds the wrapped unit in contact. Garmin states that they have an additional spring forthcoming But until then this method seems to work.
