Hello, i'm looking into building a snow blade for my dad's Foreman 450ES in shop class. I'm an ok welder when it comes to stick so wire welding should be no problem.

I was wondering if anybody had some blue prints on how they go together. I might be able to aquire the actual blade at a junk yard, what i was wondering how the postioning, mounting, and spring system go.

I've got about 90 some days of school left so i've got lots of time on my hands to make a project. If you have any other small things i could build for it feel free to post them. My dads all ready working on a sprayer and we already have a trailer and ramps.

I've only heard of a few folks trying to make a blade, and haven't heard ANYTHING about how the homebuilts they work. I would suggest stopping by your local dealer. This time of year, they usually have a display model set up so you can take some measurements, and such. Even better, if you know of someone that has a blade, you could use it as a model. Good luck, and let us know how it works out.
