Default confused

Ok so i got a different back brake caliper and i was bleeding the brakes and was getting pressure and then all of a sudden the top bleeder screw on the back caliper just shot out brake fluid for no reason and i no longer have any pressure. Did i blow a seal inside of it or something? Also noticed it dripping alittle under the brake caliper. Can someone please help. It may be going up for sale.

do you loosen the bleeder screw when you were pumping the brake?

Usually you'll want to pump with the screw loosened. make sure the fluid is full too or you'll just end up putting more air into the line.
You won't have any pressure until you tighten screw again
