On many of the newer machines, the fuel adjustment is 'hidden' behind an aluminum plug. You may have to pry or drill out this plug to get to it. On my old 250 dirt bike (Honda XR250) had an 'ear' brazed to the screw so that you could only turn it about a half round or so.
